The Nordic power market is changing and it is important for industrial players to have insight into how the energy landscape is developing.

This week, Katinka Bogaard had the pleasure to present at Eyde-dagen after Ingvill Heskestad Mykland at Å Energi where we shared the slot about perspectives on the future of energy markets.

Some key takeaways:

The European power market is well-connected, with Southern Norway being connected to various power markets in Continental Europe. This has been one of the main factors for increased volatility in the Southern Norwegian zones.

It is important to find a balance between the increase in demand from data centers and traditional industry and ensure that all players are well positioned when looking up to 10 years ahead.

Power prices in Norway will converge towards 2035 given the developments we see now in new production and consumption.

Thanks to Eyde Cluster for allowing us to present our perspectives on Tuesday in Kristiansand!
