Custom dashboards are now live for all Volt Power Analytics customers as a free add-on, making it easier to bring the market data you follow most closely into one view.
You will find the new dashboard feature at the top of the sidebar in the Volt platform.
See Your Key Market Data in One Place
Custom dashboards let you add cards containing the market data that matters most to you and collect them on a single page.
You can combine:
- Spot prices
- Forecasts
- Power flows
- Power balance
- The power map
Instead of moving between several different pages, the dashboard gives you a quick overview of your selected markets and metrics at a glance.
This can be particularly useful when monitoring several price areas or different parts of the power market at the same time.
Automatically Set Up for Your Areas
The first time you open the dashboard, it is automatically set up using the areas you already follow in Volt Power Analytics.
From there, you can edit the dashboard however you like.
You can choose which cards you want to see and configure the page around the markets and data that are most relevant to your daily work.
Always Know How Fresh the Data Is
Every dashboard card shows when its underlying data was last updated.
That means you can immediately see how fresh the numbers are without having to check the source or refresh time elsewhere in the platform.
For power market analysis, where different datasets update at different times, this makes it easier to understand exactly what you are looking at.
Move From Overview to Deep Dive
The dashboard is designed as a starting point, not a replacement for the more detailed pages in the Volt platform.
If you want to investigate one of the cards further, you can open its full page directly in the Volt app.
Your selected areas and range follow you automatically, making it easy to move from a high-level overview to a more detailed analysis without setting everything up again.
Build the Dashboard Around Your Workflow
Different power market users follow different things.
Some need a fast overview of spot prices and flows. Others are more focused on forecasts, power balances or how conditions are developing across several markets.
Custom dashboards make it possible to bring those different views together and build a workspace around the data you actually use.
