⚡Meet Kitty Theobald Gjerland, Administrative Assistant at Volt Power Analytics

Investing in young talent has always been a core part of how we build Volt. How we work is changing, and young voices are central to developing modern companies.

Kitty Theobald Gjerland has been with us since the winter and will be heading off to start her university studies later this year.

We sat down with her to hear about her journey to Volt, what excites her about energy, and where she’s headed next.

What got you started with Volt?

I got started with Volt after meeting Katinka at a business and industry workshop in Arendal. We had a great conversation about the company, the industry, and the opportunities at Volt, and I was immediately drawn to the combination of ambitious people, a fast-moving environment, and the opportunity to learn a great deal early on.

A couple of weeks later, I had signed my contract.

What interests you most about energy?

What interests me the most is how interconnected the industry is. Energy sits at the crossroads of economics, politics, technology, and international developments, which makes it incredibly dynamic to work around.

Even from an administrative and operational perspective, you’re constantly exposed to new developments and learning opportunities.

What are your aims for the future?

My goal is to continue building knowledge of the industry while gaining broad professional experience in a fast-paced and ambitious environment.

I am motivated by taking on new challenges, continuously developing both professionally and personally, and working alongside colleagues who are highly skilled at what they do.
